Bingo

Bingo

Bingo is a popular game in the US and UK. It is played by the young
and old alike. To play bingo, you are required to first purchase
tickets. The tickets contain numbers between 1 and 9 that are printed
on 5 by 5 matrices. Your aim as a player is to be the first to match
the numbers on your ticket with those that are randomly drawn. If the
pattern of your ticket numbers matches that of the drawn numbers, you
win. However, according to the rules of the game, you are only the
winner if you call out ‘bingo’ before the next number is drawn out.
It is important to note that before you can be declared the winner and
awarded a prize; your win has to be verified.

It is worth noting that there are different variations of bingo en linea.

‘U-pick’em’ is the most common type. Here, players are required to
monitor for wins after choosing the specific numbers they would like
to mark. ‘Quick shot’, ‘bonanza’, ‘horse racing’, ‘table’ and electronic bingo
are the other variations. Whatever variation you choose depends on
your preferences and your understanding of the game.

You are likely to hear certain terms when playing bingo. To become a
better player, you should learn these terms. ‘Waiting’ is one very
common term. It is used to refer to a situation where a player only
requires a single number so as to fully complete the specified bingo
pattern. Instead of saying ‘waiting’, some people may say ‘set’ or ‘cased’.
They all mean the same thing. ‘Jumping the gun’ is another common term
in bingo. This refers to an individual/player who shouts/calls ‘bingo’
before he/she has a bingo that is valid. ‘False alarm’ or ‘bongo’ is a
term closely related to ‘jumping the gun’. It describes a situation
where players mistakenly call ‘bingo’.
